Australia 2010 Pictures

The island of Tasmania is just below the mainland of Australia as you can see on the map.

There wasn't time to see much of Tasmania, but the scenery was incredible -

The summit of Mt. Wellington, the highest peak on Tasmania at 4,170 feet high.

The climb was long and windy but the view was worth it!

Salamanca, the old downtown area of Hobart

Some old grain silos that have been converted to apartments.  Anyone need a place to stay?  The penthouses on top rent for a mere one million per year!

The oldest bridge on Tasmania at Richmond, built by convicts.
